Book Review – Oola for Women Drops May 2nd!

Oola for Women – Book Review

As a follow up to the original Oola book, the Oola Guys have truly outdone themselves by letting the women do the talking this time! With incredible, touching, and inspiring stories written by Oola women, along with the witty and insightful notes from the Oola Guys, this book is a true game changer. By diving deep into the stories of these wonderful women, I learned that even though our circumstances and roles may be different, we women share so many of the same thoughts, fears, hopes and dreams. Unlike any other, this book truly demonstrates the unforgettable truth, that we are all unique, but so alike at the same time. I whole-heartedly recommend this book to women and men of all ages who want to balance and grow their life.

I am not getting paid for this review, nor do I work for Oola. This book is just THAT good!

Why Do I Share Oola?

One of the most important principles in Oola is to figure out your “why.”  Why you strive for a particular goal…why you take on a new challenge…finding your “why” is key to finding the motivation you need to do the previously impossible.

So, the question has come up, WHY do I share Oola with others? I am not an Oola employee, I am not getting paid for this.  So why did I randomly anoint myself as the “OolaLawyer” and share this message, especially coming from the legal world where every minute is profit, and every second is billed in six-minute increments?

There was never a doubt in my mind that I would share Oola, but this WHY has taken me a bit longer to figure out.   After some reflection, here are my WHYs for sharing Oola:

  1. You learn by teaching.  This has always been true for me.  With Oola it is no different.  I delve deeper into the concepts and absorb the lessons much more when I am explaining Oola to others.
  2. It keeps me accountable to me.  Sharing Oola on a daily basis is like getting an Oola tattoo without the ink.  Oola was such a revolution in my life, such a game-changer that I refuse to forget it over time.  By sharing Oola everyday, I have a constant reminder of my commitment to the OolaLife.
  3. It keeps me accountable to others.  By sharing Oola with others, especially my family and friends, I create a built-in system to make sure I am practicing what I preach.
  4. You don’t earn money by eating, sleeping,  breathing, it’s no different with Oola-ing.  Just as eating, breathing, sleeping are essential to a healthy life, so is Oola.  Just a few years ago, suffering from burnout, stress, and an unhealthy lifestyle, I picked up the Oola book and it changed my life.  It likely saved my life.  It is now such a core function of who I am that I do it with or without money.  Having an activity like that in this day and age is refreshing to say the least.
  5. I am helping to change the world with a word.  This message needs to be everywhere, in every home, workplace, school.  Sharing Oola through my words and actions is just one small way to help that effort.
  6. Oola works.  It changed my life for the better and I know it will do the same for others.
  7. I couldn’t stop thinking about it.  See graphic below, nuf said.

Live Oola Always on Your Mind

So…those are my “whys.”

This is my very first post.  It is part of a blog challenge through LiveYourLegend.com.  I chose to focus on Oola through this blog because the Oola book, the Oola Guys, and the Oola Flock have changed my life for the better and I want to help share their message in some small way.  If you don’t know what Oola is, Google it!  Soon, I hope this will be one of many outlets where you can find information on Oola, plus follow along with me on my journey towards the OolaLife!
